What is this?
I wanted to show everybody who help spread the site some extra attention. This is a system that tracks inbound links with a special identifier, much like the campaign to spread Firefox only a lot less complex. Whoever tops this list each year will be rewarded with a package for christmas. (Promised to contain at least a signed CD-R.)
To begin tracking how many hits you generate simply add /robot/<nickname> to the end of your Binärpilot link. Sample: http://binaerpilot.no/robot/alexander Your nickname will show up on the scoreboard as soon as three hits have been registered. To everyone who participated last year, pre-2009 style links will still work.
Where can I use it?
There are no limits whatsoever. You can put the link on your website, in your email signature, paste it on IRC, spraypaint it on walls, put in on your car, write it in your forehead, simply put: Wherever you can think of! Please avoid senseless spam however. The ident of every registered hit is "banned" for a year, so repeatedly clicking the link will not generate points. Besides that, you are encouraged to go crazy. After all, this is war.
